Use the REST API for automated workflows and public video URLs. One credit equals one minute of processed video; app licenses and local extraction never use this balance.

The open-source local MCP is free. The hosted MCP is live and uses your API key and API credits.

Pricing FAQ

Are local app purchases and API plans the same thing?
No. Browser, Mac, and iOS are local products for working with video on your device. The API is a separate cloud product with its own account, credits, packs, and monthly plans. Buying an app license does not add API credits, and an API plan does not unlock an app.
Is iOS Lifetime included with Mac Pro Lifetime?
No. iOS Lifetime is a separate In-App Purchase billed and restored by Apple. Mac Pro Lifetime is purchased separately through GetVideoFrames.
Why offer a lifetime Pro plan?
Advanced features like Smart clean picks and desktop batch folders take sustained engineering. A one-time early adopter price funds that work without turning the free local extractor into a metered cloud product.
What stays free?
Current local extraction is free with no artificial run quota, signup, or watermark. The selected video is not uploaded for extraction. Browser compatibility, memory, and device resources still limit individual jobs. Smart Scan preview stays free; exporting clean picks is Pro.
When does Pro ship?
Pro Lifetime checkout is open at the founder price. After payment, sign in with OTP at /account, download Desktop for Apple silicon Mac, and activate up to three devices. Windows builds ship next.
Does the free plan really never upload my video?
Yes. Free extraction runs in your browser on your device, and the selected video is not uploaded for extraction. Application assets and optional analytics use separate network requests.
What is the refund policy for Pro Lifetime?
Contact support to request a refund. Eligibility follows the purchase terms and applicable law. A full refund deactivates the related license; a partial refund does not automatically deactivate it.
